Your RunClinic appointment will include an assessment on our custom-built video analysis treadmill. Using high-speed cameras and inbuilt pressure sensors, every part of your running technique will be carefully analysed.

Recommendations are given to optimise mechanics and the impact of changes accurately measured over time.

This appointment is suitable for people of all abilities — our clients range from clients post brain injury to post surgical case to olympic athletes.

  • Your clients Initial appointment will usually include an assessment on our state of the art video and pressure analysis treadmills. Using high-speed cameras and over 7000 inbuilt pressure sensors, every part of their gait will be carefully analysed.

    A seven page report with images of joint angles and pressure data is generated to unlock a whole host of different metrics that are used to identify unknown assymetries and help guide your clients treatment.

    The report and Recommendations are given to practioners to help improve mechanics and the impact of changes accurately measured over time.

What to expect,
at your first Appointment.

Medical history & Training analysis | You'll be ask questions about your performance, injury history, and training patterns. Your Podiatrist will review data from wearable devices, and identify your goals.
CURRENT FOOTWEAR & PRESCRIPTION ANALYSIS | Your Podiatrist will review your current footwear, as well as any existing prescriptions or off-the-shelf devices, such as orthotics.
Biomechanical Assessment | Your Podiatrist will analyse the way your joints and muscles move together while you sit, stand and move.
Computerised Video Running Analysis | You'll run on a specialised treadmill which enables your Podiatrist to assess pressure distribution, joint angles and slow motion gait analysis at different cadence.
Customised Treatment Plan | You'll receive a personalised treatment plan, including detailed training recommendations, your injury risk profile, a footwear prescription, and a copy of your running analysis report.
